Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Solent area are being invited to a series of one-day workshops about Government support for business research and development (R&D).
The free Solent and South Workshop will help businesses interested in innovation, patents, research and development and will take place on February 20 at Chilworth Manor Hotel near Southampton.
It will include using R&D tax credit relief to invest more in maximising research and development, Intellectual Property for competitive advantage, using design to add value and help businesses grow and a networking opportunity.
The workshops are organized by HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) and the Department for Business Innovation and Skills (BIS and are for any type of business SMEs and their professional advisors.

Each session will allow time for questions and stands are also staffed by experts who are available to talk.
