Fans of television series Thomas & Friends will be able to meet The Fat Controller who will be visiting a toy store in Titchfield Common.
The character will be at Smyths Toys Superstore in Southampton Road on Sunday (February 24) to tell children all about the latest adventures of his Really Useful Engines.
Store manager, Graham Moriarty, said “We’re delighted to be welcoming The Fat Controller into Smyths Toys Superstores in Fareham this weekend. The Thomas & Friends range has been an incredible success story that has gone from strength to strength and never fails to bring the fun factor.”
He will be at the store at various intervals between 10am and 4pm in a celebration of everything Thomas and for some special product promotions in store.
The Thomas & Friends story was first created in 1917 by the Rev W Awdry for his son Christopher, who was inspired by the Great Western line from Paddington to Bristol.
