On May 18  Maria will be singing accompanied by local pianist Chris Milburn at the Victory Hall in Warsash.

Maria, of Wellow Gardens, said: “For several years I have worked with local pianist Chris Milburn and together we have put on lots of fundraiser concerts.

“Chris met Harvey’s mum in a shop and she suggested we do something for Help4Harvey. It worked for us because of our ethic of thinking locally.

“I myself have a disabled son with autism. He is at a specialist school in Dorset, and it took five years of battling for him to get a place there. I am interested in seeing young kids achieve their potential.

“I understand how Harvey’s parents feel and what they are going through to get what Harvey needs to live a happy life.”

Tickets for the concert, which starts at 7.30pm on the 18th, cost £10. For more information contact 01489 572913.
